Install Vörðr on a Windows PC, add your cameras in the app, and it starts recording. You do not need a server, a GPU or config files, your footage stays on your own disks, and it is free for up to four cameras. During the beta, unlimited cameras and nodes are free.

Set up in the app, not in config files
The Windows installer includes everything Vörðr needs. A setup wizard takes you through storage and cameras, ONVIF discovery finds the cameras on your network, and every setting after that is in the app.
Runs on basic equipment
Vörðr records each camera's stream without re-encoding it, and it runs AI only when motion needs confirming. A family desktop or a small mini-PC is enough, so you do not need a GPU or a dedicated server.
Your footage stays with you
Recordings stay on your own disks, the AI runs on your own hardware, and you do not need an account with us. The only server Vörðr contacts on its own is the update check.

Each event in the clips list shows the clearest picture of what was detected and what it was, such as a person or a vehicle. You can tell what happened in a few seconds, and open the clip only when you want to see more. Because every camera records continuously, the clip also includes the moments before the motion started.
